Ode to Adrienne is a blog about women. It’s supposed to be an ode to the woman in me, the one that was just there and waiting for something big to happen. But then I realized that would be very limited. Thus, I made it about women I admire, women in general.

I am not a feminist. But I do hate the way women are treated by some people. I specifically hate those ads using women to advertise their products or services and the image used has nothing to do with what’s being sold itself! Entrecard has so much of that. I will write about this issue more on this blog. I will also write about the remarkable women of 2009 for me.

Yay! Finally! The theme is already what I wanted it to be

I had a custom theme made for this blog. It was done already but I didn’t like the sidebar so I am having it changed a bit. I am hoping to get it before the weekend so I can unveil the new theme by November 1st. Hoping…

Anyway, I am not yet decided as to revamping the whole blog. I just might. I am not yet done thinking about the blog topics but I want it solid by the time I put up the new theme.

For now, I apologize for the sporadic updates. I am really not in my “fighting” mood for weeks. I hope I will be when I put up the new theme soon.

I’ve been unwell for the past few days. I don’t like this feeling and to banish it, I am doing little things that I know will motivate me and make me feel better. Like tinkering with this blog’s stylesheet. I changed the background and some link colors here. I want a brighter layout thus the changes. I hope you like it, too.

I am thinking of ways on how to get back my ranking here. Probably tinker with the meta tags or something. I am not really knowledgeable when it comes to seo but hopefully, I can ask around from well-meaning friends and get some insights to how my pr will be back. And hopefully, Mr. G will be good enough to give it back.
