Remember when I wrote about how happy I was when this blog’s previous gray bar turned to zero? Well now imagine that kind of happiness doubled because of the green I’m seeing…

Thank you, Lord, for this blog is finally back in the good graces of the god of the internet! The gray bar is no longer hugging this blog’s rank! Ode to Adrienne is finally a PR zero!

Not much, you might say. But I’ve been worrying a lot about the gray bar for the past couple of months. I didn’t know what I did be penalized like that but all I can say is that I worked hard to keep up and update this blog and hopefully (then) be recognized by the big G of the net to give me back a rank. Even a zero would do and here it is!

I am now more inspired to update this blog. Expect more entries in the days to come…

I’ve been racking my brain on what topic to write here aside from the women whom I think will play or have played a significant part in my life. I’ve been tossing the idea of writing some personal stuff here but since I already have a blog for that, I don’t want to repeat the same topics in this blog.

I could write some entertain news here. Or something else… how about stuff women like? Or ones that is trending now?

Hmm…

There are so many topics to write about but I want a specific one for this blog that I will feel totally inspired to write on each time I open this blog of mine.

But what is it gonna be?!

Hey, guys! This blog will undergo an overhaul. There will be some falling debris so make sure you have your hardhat with you if you come stay awhile.

The theme will be changed. Some entries will be scheduled to publish within the week. And the sidebar will become 2 and some stuff will go there.

The blog will still be all about women, not just those whom I admire but also about some women who are not doing so good now, involved in issues and scandals.

So stay tuned and I hope you will like the changes after I’m done with it.

There was a blogger who told me in the past that he thought I was a celebrity blogging. I asked him why he said that it’s the way I wrote my entries. Back then, I spend so much time writing one entry after another. I was maintaining only two blogs and it was so easy for me to do that.

These days, I get the feedback that I have a certain ‘voice’ in my blogging and I get the feeling that it’s not a positive one. According to a friend who also blogs, it’s the way I often talk about a topic related to family. Well, I love my family. I value the core unit of society so much that I often write about it. To that I am guilty.

I would like to go back to that ‘celebrity’ blogging ways. I would love to get a positive feedback to my writing again. But how? Extra effort and more time spent in front of the computer, I guess. And practice! No more bits and pieces only. I will try to do it here. And see if it goes well.

By the way, the theme is definitely changing as soon as the site of the theme maker goes up.

Please excuse the dust here. I am still ‘renovating’ this blog of mine. I am in the process of choosing a new theme. Actually, I have chosen a new one but I am not yet sure that this is the one.

So I will be stuck with this one for now. I am still looking for something that will evoke an emotion in my heart when I see it. I need that in order for me to be convinced that it is the theme for this blog.

This is it for now. I’ll update you once I found ‘it’.

I do the designs of most of my blogs. Like this one. I just had a template made and then I did the overall design. I actually love the design especially the header. If you haven’t noticed it yet, it has a woman lying on a bed of flowers. Perfect for this blog’s theme which is about women.

But when I drop (Entre)cards, I see some blogs that have more beautiful designs. When I do, I feel the need to redesign yet again. There are just so many lovely blog designs out there that sometimes I don’t know what I actually want anymore *sheepish grin*

Ode to Adrienne is a blog about women. It’s supposed to be an ode to the woman in me, the one that was just there and waiting for something big to happen. But then I realized that would be very limited. Thus, I made it about women I admire, women in general.

I am not a feminist. But I do hate the way women are treated by some people. I specifically hate those ads using women to advertise their products or services and the image used has nothing to do with what’s being sold itself! Entrecard has so much of that. I will write about this issue more on this blog. I will also write about the remarkable women of 2009 for me.
