My blogger-friend Faye is on a quest to get back her blog’s page rank. She is listing down her blog in web site directories. She is joining memes left and right and making friends with bloggers she thinks she has something in common with. I admire her tenacity! She is the type of person who really gets what she wants because she’s focused and determined.

I hope I can be half of what she is. It will make me achieve so many things for sure.

As usual, I am in charge of my aunt’s office renovation. We are off to buy new office furniture for an incoming executive. My aunt knew of my experience with start-up companies and how I once acted as a purchasing officer of a company I’ve worked for.

To tell the truth, I love purchasing office furniture! It can be tedious or tricky at times but I just love buying things for the office! Even office supplies. So I am off to buy furniture with my aunt now.

I am easily pleased. In fact, if you’ve done a kind act towards me or my family, I will be grateful. Like this neighbor of ours who helped my dad clean up our second floor. He was in need of a contact for POS systems for his business. Since nobody’s helping him find one, I volunteered and asked colleagues. When I found the one, I told him about it and helped him get a better deal. He’s thankful and was able to buy three machines for his business.

I am hoping that the treadmills being sold at this fitness store will go on sale. I want one at home! When I went to the gym years ago, this was my constant. And body combat. The combo really made me lose weight. I am praying that I lose some this year and more by next. I’ll be 32 next year, imagine that! I promised myself years ago that when I reach my 30th birthday, I must be healthy already. But here I am, almost 2 years after my 30th and still unhealthy

My youngest sister is brave! I envy her, actually. Imagine, she’s tried out the zip line already! According to her, it’s not really that scary considering you have a safety harness on you plus it’s just like flying. So exciting! I know it is. I just have this morbid idea of plunging to my own death because of that. So, no thanks, I am fine watching by the sidelines. I’d rather leave that to the strong of hearts like my sister.

I am not vain but I take care of my face, making sure it is always clean. I don’t want acne or even a pimple on my face. I got this idea from my mom that we should always be presentable when facing other people. And I remind my really close friends about this. I’ve been advising one of them to buy acne products so she can finally get rid of hers. It’s been there since high school and she’s already a mom. It’s about time she do something about it, right?

The wedding invitations were already sent out. Chloe was excitedly taking care of some last minute changes in the wedding program when she got the call. Doug changed his mind…

No, he’s not backing out. Ha! Got you there, right? Hahaha! No, Doug just wanted to change the place where they’re going for their honeymoon. He’s a marine biologist and if I am not mistaken, they went to the Bahamas and checked some underground something while they were there.

Chloe and Doug have been married for ten years now. Still very much in love with each other after all these years.

It baffles the police how the burglars were able to escape when a video surveillance equipment was already set up to entrap them. There were almost apprehended. But for some reason, they were able to jump off the high fence and the trained dogs didn’t attack them.

The neighbors think the dogs know the men. Or they fed the dogs something. I think they know someone who told them there is a video surveillance equipment and an entrapment waiting for them.

I love dancing! Except I do it much better when no one’s looking and making me feel self-conscious. Ha! Ha! If I only live by myself, believe me, I would have been way slimmer than my figure right now. I will probably spend my free time dancing, sweating. And then I will take the best weight loss supplement and keep a healthy diet.

Right now, living with the whole family is cramping my style. Ha! Ha! Course, this is just an excuse, I know. I can do things my way if I really want to.

It’s hard to think of what to give a person who is not really materialistic. I mean, she lives simply and it’s just ridiculous to give her things that she will not use. I saw a couple of wrought iron candle sconces that I know she will love because she can put it on the wall in her patio. She has this mini garden near her patio and she spends most of her waking hours there, knitting, reading, and sometimes, napping. She loves scented candles so I know this will work for her.

I can’t be a soundboard all the time. I can’t listen to you talk about your love life all the time. Because I have a life, too! And I have things to do.

I appreciate the fact that she tells me personal stuff. But then it gets tedious when you are hounded by text messages at odd hours. She knows my schedule. She knows when I am asleep and when I am awake. It just annoys me sometimes when I get a text message saying that she’s paranoid and that she thinks he doesn’t like her anymore… because of a ym status message! My goodness!

There are boundaries to this kind of thing, right? I don’t know if I’ve ever hounded any of my friends like this. I hope not.
