I’ve been unwell for the past few days. I don’t like this feeling and to banish it, I am doing little things that I know will motivate me and make me feel better. I am thinking of ways on how to get back my ranking here. Probably tinker with the meta tags or something. Haze bought a little doll. She’s asking her dad to make a room for her doll so at night, she has a room of her own. Her dad is obviously putty in her hands so he acquiesced and made a little room for the doll. The room is quite the little girl’s dream room complete with porcelain tile for her wall! It’s so cute!

I played dolls when I was a kid. My sisters and I had Barbie dolls and we would play, making the dolls act like best friends instead of sisters. It was so much fun because all we talked about that time was going to the office, shopping and traveling!

I think the guy is putting up with her foul-mouthed wife because he does not want to ruin his family. But at some point, he has to put his foot down and tell his wife to shut the hell up! And he needs to demand respect from the women in his life.

I kept remembering her, my mentor. Whenever there are special occasions, her kind face and voice would always resurface from the deep recesses of my mind. She’s one of the few bosses I know who are truly kind to her staff. Plus, she will let you do things your own way. She won’t force her methods to you but would rather welcome whatever you can contribute to the group. I remember we were reviewing a financial report and I was changing Excel sheets back and forth using ctrl-page-down and ctrl-page-up. She told me she didn’t know that and was amazed by it. Other bosses would pretend to know it by observing what you’re doing and will keep quiet. Not her. She is a very generous, very gracious person. A true kindhearted one that is rare these days.

I had trouble before. I asked a loan from the company that would be deducted from my paycheck for six months. She called me up (she’s at the headquarters while I was at a branch office) and offered to loan me the exact same amount I need (out of her own pocket) without any interest and I can pay it for a year.

Tell me, how can I forget a person like my mentor? Too bad I lost my communication with her. Last I heard, she’s already working abroad for a well-known telecoms company.

I saw her looking bulkier than usual. I thought she was pregnant. When I got near her, I saw that she gained weight. And it didn’t do her good at all. She was really skinny back in college, always been saying how she didn’t want to be one of those who don’t look after their weight. It really came as a surprise to see her not skinny. I was tempted to tell her to take the best weight loss supplements so she could be back in fighting form. She can be a pain in the neck but she can be a caring friend, especially during that tough time in my life back in sophomore year in college.
