We have several slimming tea at home. All of it were given by my sister’s students, all of them claiming it to be really effective. They were probably indirectly telling her to go on a diet, concerned for her health. But my sister is a skeptic when it comes to herbals. She’s afraid it might have a negative effect on her. I saw her reading a diet pill review and she remarked that she’s better off with one that is really tried and tested to be effective in weight loss. I told her that the slimming teas are also tried and tested by her students. She’s now thinking of trying out both.

My cousin loves to buy items by the bulk to get big discounts and would then sell it to people she knows. She is always on the lookout for items that she knows would interest family and friends. So when she got hold of the news that there’s a wholesale electronics that she can buy from Liquidation.com, she immediately checked it out if she can buy it. Again, she will sell it to get even a small amount of profit. Ever the businesswoman in the family.

There’s a local food here known as tocino. It is actually marinated pork that is made sweet. I love it! I can eat a lot of it with rice. My dad and my siblings tease me about it all the time, telling friends that if I can’t think of anything to eat, I would immediately choose tocino. Which is actually true.

But then eating a lot of it, of course, adds unnecessary pounds to my already overweight body. It would take a lot of diet pills for me to shed it off. But I always think that the additional pounds is worth it after every tocino meal. Hahaha

I just watched a local magazine program that showed old-fashioned baking of bread. It made me so hungry that I asked my brother if he could buy some breads at a local bakery. There’s one near our house that sells freshly baked bread at night. I love it!

This is the problem I have with watching cooking shows and those that features anything edible. I get hungry while watching it! If I continue being like this, I would probably need top rated fat burners sooner or later. Sooner, most likely.

reflection

What do you see yourself when you look in the mirror? Do you see a happy person, satisfied with the way her life is going? Or do you see a person who’s bitter about life and raring to end it?

Personally, I see someone who’s somewhat satisfied with the way her life is at the moment. There’s room for improvement. I can do things to make my life more colorful, happier.

How about you?

I love hearing about daughters doing their best to help their mothers at home. I am the eldest in a brood of six. At an early age, I learned to help my mom with household chores. Nobody told me to do it. It’s like second nature to me to help my mom at home.

Anyway, I saw my female cousins helping their mom clean the house. I was so happy seeing them being so helpful at home that I promised them that the next time I get to visit, I will give them my XBox which I haven’t been using that much now.

Whether we like it or not, looking good these days mean having a slimmer body frame. Lucky are those who are born with a good body built. I have a former co-worker who can eat a lot of rice in one seating but who doesn’t even gain a pound. Believe me, when you see her, you cannot fathom how she can down twelve or more pieces of prawns in a single meal. And she can do it… with rice! If you are the one who ate that much, it would make you feel like buying the top diet pill just to shed off the pounds you are sure to gain. Lucky gal!

One of the women I admire in Hollywood is Meryl Streep. She is one hell of an actress! I love her in Bridges of Madison County, The Devil Wears Prada, Mama Mia, and so many other movies of hers. She can portray so many roles with so much passion. I watched an interview done by another Hollywood actress and she was clearly as starstruck as me. Looking at her, aging gracefully, still with that captivating smile of hers, you’d feel like whipping out the best diet pills you have just to achieve even a minuscule amount of her grace and beauty.
